NYS adds 40 Grand Island family farms to agricultural district

On March 10, 2016, NYS Commissioner of Agriculture & Markets Richard Ball certified the addition of 40 family farms on Grand Island into Erie County Agricultural District #17.  This is the first time that farm operations on Grand Island have been included in a state-certified agricultural district.
